Acquisition announcement – Talking Business

We are pleased to announce our latest acquisition. On the 1st April 2024, The Business Supplies Group (BSG) officially acquired Talking Business, a long-standing business with a great reputation for servicing customers with workwear, office supplies, and furniture in the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire counties.

This acquisition strengthens our strategic growth, providing an additional key distribution centre in the region, as we continue to serve both existing BSG and Talking Business clients.

“After 32 years of running Talking Business, I have finally decided it is time to retire from the business. I have enjoyed building the company up over the years and working with my loyal team, but it’s now the right time to change my lifestyle and spend more time with my family and out on the golf course.”

What this means for customers

  • Access to in‑house print production for short digital and specialised litho print runs
  • Workwear personalisation via embroidery, printing, and badging facilities
  • Managed Print Services delivered by our own engineering and distribution teams
  • Office furniture space‑planning support from our dedicated team

In addition, our Berkshire team will relocate to a new Slough Industrial Estate facility on 13th May 2024. Service levels will remain uninterrupted, with deliveries continuing via BSG fleet.

Talking Business customers will see little change day-to-day beyond the new BSG branding—it's business as usual!
