We prioritise environmental responsibility and sustainability and work diligently across our organisation and with clients and suppliers to reduce waste and water usage, increase recycling, cut gas and electricity consumption and offset carbon emissions.
Our commitment and endeavours are backed by Environmental Management Systems with ISO14001 certification and our Carbon Neutrality certificate. We have recently been awarded our EcoVadis committed badge and are working towards silver accreditation and Supply Chain Sustainability School accreditation.
We are immensely proud of our sustainability values. As part of our commitment to help tackle climate change and protect the environment for future generations, we’re actively reducing our carbon emissions while also offsetting what we can’t yet eliminate. This not only helps to reduce global warming but also supports deprived communities in developing countries.
We have more than 3,800 sustainable products available online which are easy to find using our eco filter or download our eco essentials brochure, containing our top 450 sustainable products.
Our Eco Essentials brochure has been tailor-made for our customers to ensure making the environmentally friendly choice is as easy as possible.
Helping our customers to make eco-friendly purchasing decisions is in our DNA. Our Green Audit program is increasingly popular with many businesses that we work with who have their own sustainability objectives. Our initial consultation involves reviewing product mix and spend history. We use this data to provide sustainable product alternatives, but we don’t stop there. This environmental spend analysis can form part of our quarterly review process to help meet your own green goals over the long term.
It’s now even easier to shop ‘green’ at BSG. Our online platform allows you to search for products with recycled and green credentials, so that you can always make a ‘sustainable’ buying decision!
As an organisation we are proud to hold our ISO14001 accreditation for the environmental management system, which shows our commitment to the environment we share.
When it comes to transportation, we’re fully on board with the electric vehicle (EV) revolution. Currently 80% of our company cars are now either fully electric or hybrid and going forward all new company cars will be.
