In 2023, we launched an initiative to offset our carbon emissions by supporting global sustainability projects—here’s how we’re building on that.
In 2023, a carbon footprint assessment across our eight sites revealed we generated 437 tonnes of CO₂. To neutralise our impact, we partnered with Carbon Footprint and invested in three community projects that both offset emissions and drive long-term global change.

In Zambia’s Western Province, fewer than 50% of rural communities have access to safe water, and 90% rely on wood fires—contributing to health issues and CO₂ emissions. Our contributions restore borehole pumps and train locals for ongoing upkeep.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, home to chimpanzees, bonobos, and forest elephants, this initiative prevents illegal logging and deforestation while supporting sustainable agriculture and local development.

The Arca Hydroelectric Power Plant on the Solakl River offsets approximately 31,405 tonnes of CO₂e per year by reducing reliance on fossil-fuel power.
Building on our offset programmes, we’ve introduced electric vehicles and rolled out a full eco-friendly product brochure. While we work toward net zero, supporting effective carbon reduction, community projects remains central to our strategy.
